Golden Butter Cake with Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting

6 egg yolks
1 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon + 1 tsp. Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
12 Tablespoons butter
3 cup flour

Mix yolks, 1/4 cup of the milk & vanilla. Put all dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat in butter till like crumbs. Beat in remaining milk. Now slowly beat in egg yolk mixture. Beat till smooth. Pour into a greased & floured 9x13 pan & bake 350 degrees 25 -35 minutes. Poke holes in cake with an object about the diameter of a drinking straw. Pour Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting over warm cake. Smooth for an even finish.

Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting
3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 bag marshmallows
1teaspoon vanilla
dash of salt
1/2 to 1 cup of light cream
2 cups powdered sugar
Microwave chocolate chips on 50% power till melted about 2 minutes. Stir 1/2 thru and again when melted to smooth. Add marshmallows & microwave full power till melted about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir till smooth. Now beat in cream & sugar till texture is frosting consistency. Add more or less as you prefer. Frost warm cake. Frosting will pool down in holes and smooth over the top. Delicious!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

                                                                   

Great Family Meal! Makes 6 Huge Servings!



2 Large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

3 Large Carrots Peeled and Chopped about 2 Cups

1, 16 Ounce Bag Frozen Peas

Seasoning to Taste, Pepper I used White Pepper Parsley, Chicken Bouillon 2 or 2 TBS Loose Chicken Broth Seasoning I used Knorr's, 1 TBS Chopped Garlic

3 Cups Milk

3 Cups Shredded Cheese, I used Mild Cheddar

Water

1 Pound Egg Noodles I used Wide

1 Cup Bread Crumbs

1/4 Cup Flour

4 TBS Butter

I a large deep pot add your Chicken Breast and cover with water. Add the garlic, the Chicken Seasoning and remaining seasoning. Cook on simmer until Chicken is done. This took about 25 minutes, Remove the chicken from the pot then dump in your carrots. Cook on simmer for 10 minutes, Now add the peas and bring to a boil, Add Noodles and cook 10 minutes. Reserve 1 Cup of the broth then drain  the noodles, peas, and carrots. I kept the remaining broth to use for another time. In the large pot place the butter and melt, stir in the flour to make a smooth paste. Now continue to cook and stir slowly adding the Milk & the 1 Cup Broth, stirring and cooking until this becomes thick and bubbling.  Remove from heat and stir 2 Cups of the shredded Cheese. Stir until melted. Now in a large casserole add the Noodle mixture, the cooled cooked Chicken that you cut into bite sized pieces. Stir well. Now add the cheese and stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. Pour over the Chicken Noodle Mixture and stir well. Now, over the top spread the remaining Cup of Cheese then sprinkle over the Cheese the Bread Crumbs. Over the Bread Crumbs I sprinkled more Parsley, Onion & Garlic Powder and White Pepper. Bake at 350 Degrees Uncovered for 1 Hour. Great Meal!
